This afternoon we meandered our way to visit Mt Rushmore which I don’t recommend if you are a dog. I had high hopes when I saw the yellow paw prints leading the way, however they only led me a very short distance to a bench with a crappy view. Don’t waste your time fighting the touristy crowds and parking garage. You get a much better view from the open car window on the side of the rode.

We also visited Crazy Horse Monument since it was nearby. It did have some green space and it was more welcoming to dogs but not much to enjoy for my fellow furry friends. Tell your humans to view it from the highway. The Black Hills National Forest Scenic byway was much more interesting. Moving on.
